Welcome back.... I know it's been awhile. We're still breathing though. Lately, the band has been devoting it's entire existence into tracking a new record, so we haven't had much time to talk. It's really coming along quite well. We're looking at a release in the new year.

The Vice party was a real mess of fun. The dudes from Zune recorded a live track of Great Pains which turn out pretty well considering the hijinks of the event. Next for Dog Day is a tour with the legendary Eric's Trip. We are excited. Check in on our tour blog at Exclaim to see how it's going. Peace

Touring Europe was cool and now we're fatter and stronger. We'd like to thank everyone who showed us such a good time. Now we travel west to see if the rest of Canada exists.. if it does we'll proceed Southward to the USA and see what they're up to. The dates are posted on Myspace. Norwood Cheek is the man from Hollywood that came over one day and made us a video. He is famous for his Superchunk and Archers of Loaf flicks. Dog Day have returned home from a sucsessful central Canadian jaunt in support of the new record. Highlights Include meeting Daniel Johnston, GPS navigation, greasy food, seedy motels and seeing friends. Sean Flinn wrote a nice story about us care of the Coast. CBC 3 put up a rocky live concert from last year that has a couple rare tracks. Last, we're happy to say Night Group is beginning to receive some great reviews:
