Hey y'all. We're getting close to releasing this new record of ours. It is called Concentration and we are very proud of it. We were lucky enough to work with our hero John Agnello and he really came through. Here's a song to chew on 'till the end of April when the record officially comes out. Rome.mp3
Track list:
Happiness
Neighbour
Wait It Out
Stray
Saturday Night
Rome
You Won't See Me On Sunday
Judgment Day
Youth Of Destruction
Don't Worry About The Future
Peace
Also, we're escaping to Ontario in March to record a 7" with Rick White that will be a surprise for later. He even wrote us a song! On the way we'll be playing a few shows including CMW and a couple dates with Australia's An Horse. We'll play some new ones so come out & pisce the night away.

We're presently tearing our hair out, tracking the last few songs of the new album. We're trying some new tricks this time and it's working out pretty great. It should be finished soon. Unfortunately due to some last minute mixing scheduling, Dog Day had to duck out of our Pop Explosion show. It is sure to be a really great time and I wish we didn't have to miss it. Also, 6015 Willow will be showing and releasing the DVD. This is a documentary that features a good number of Halifax bands including DD in a the house Nancy and I used to live at. It was a fun experience. I hope they save me one.

More things to come..

Dog Day's has a piece in the new Alternative Press rag. Nice picture! Also Chart added some old videos to their new site including this flaky interview from CMW.

Welcome back.... I know it's been awhile. We're still breathing though. Lately, the band has been devoting it's entire existence into tracking a new record, so we haven't had much time to talk. It's really coming along quite well. We're looking at a release in the new year.

The Vice party was a real mess of fun. The dudes from Zune recorded a live track of Great Pains which turn out pretty well considering the hijinks of the event. Next for Dog Day is a tour with the legendary Eric's Trip. We are excited. Check in on our tour blog at Exclaim to see how it's going. Peace
